Packaging Requirements

Proper packaging helps protect your shipment and prevents delays or additional handling charges.

1. Use a strong cardboard box

Parcels should be packed in a strong, securely closed cardboard box, preferably double-walled for heavier items.

Please do not send parcels in bags, suitcases or soft packaging. Couriers may apply additional handling charges where a parcel cannot move normally through automated sorting systems. Any additional courier charges may be passed on to the sender.

2. Avoid excessive wrapping

Do not use excessive stretch film, shrink wrap, straps or loose external wrapping. These can interfere with automated conveyor and sorting systems and may result in additional handling charges.

Keep the outside of the parcel flat, secure and suitable for attaching shipping labels.

3. Protect the contents inside

Items should not move freely inside the box. Use suitable internal protection such as bubble wrap, paper or other protective filling, particularly around fragile items.

Do not overfill the box. The parcel should close securely without bulging or changing shape.

4. Sending documents

We recommend sending documents in a small rigid cardboard document box or suitable protective cardboard packaging, rather than a thin paper envelope.

Please remember that the packaging itself adds to the total shipment weight and dimensions.

5. Measure and weigh the finished parcel

Always enter the weight and dimensions after the parcel has been completely packed and sealed.

Include all packaging materials when measuring and weighing your shipment.

Incorrect weight or dimensions may result in additional courier or oversize charges.

6. Check the size limits

Size and weight limits vary depending on the selected delivery service.

Check the limits for your service before booking. Parcels exceeding the permitted weight or dimensions may be subject to additional charges or may need to be sent using another service.

7. Shipping labels

Attach the shipping label securely to a flat, clearly visible surface of the box.

Remove or cover any old shipping labels and barcodes to avoid scanning or routing errors.

8. Restricted & Sanctioned Items

Before packing your parcel, check the Restricted Items and Sanctions information for your destination.

Do not include prohibited or restricted goods unless they are specifically permitted for the selected service.

9. Fragile Items

Fragile items require appropriate protective packaging. Please note that damage to fragile or delicate items is not covered by basic or extended insurance.

The sender is responsible for ensuring that the parcel is properly packed, accurately measured and suitable for transportation.

Additional charges imposed by a courier due to non-standard packaging, incorrect weight or dimensions, or special handling requirements may be charged to the sender.
